XMAS Curry!!!!
Okay guys, that time of year has come around again (very quickly as well!)
We'll be holding the Christmas curry this wednesday (10th)
The plan is for a set price (around £10) to include popadoms and pickles then along the lines of a naan curry and half rice.
This may change slightly but a combination of curry's will be put out on each table.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements e.g Veggie
We will need to know definite numbers by Sunday so if you can post on the forum or send me and email ASAP (annie.bowe@newcastle.ac.uk)
It will be held around 7.00pm and proposed restaurant is Curry Capital in Bigg market (TBC)
Once again we will hold a secret santa , so make sure you all bring with you a wrapped present worth no more than £3
This is a great chance to all meet up before the xmas hols and stuff yourselves silly!!
Dress code is smart (pretty frocks and smart shirts)
Sorry for the long message

Re: XMAS Curry!!!!
In my defence, I was tired when I looked at the list, and I do eat a lot, especially poppadums because they are like crisps!!

Re: XMAS Curry!!!!
I've been sent the list of what we'll be getting currywise on wednesday so it
would be FANTASTIC if you could all email me or annie back with what you would
like by tonight.
The choice is...
Main Course
Chicken Tikka Massala
Marinated Chicken breast cooked in the tandoor then cooked with fresh
cream and ground coconuts.
Lamb Korma (home style)
Korma cooked the Bengali way, tender lamb cooked with fresh cream and
ground coconuts.
Chicken Jalfrazee
Chicken cooked with fresh garlic, ginger chilies, tomatoes and spices
Akbari korma
Cooked with fresh cream, almond powder, cauliflower and tomatoes and
bananas
Served with PilLau Rice or chips & a
choice of plain, garlic, coriander, peshwari or garlic
nan bread and popodoms and pickles
so please pick one of those 4 and let us know!
