Tyne Tour 2009

Well who else is going this year? I have just filled in my application and its ready for posting! I cant wait for a weekend of good boating and socialising!

On a begging note; has anyone got a boat I could borrow for the weekend? Just I could be struggling to get one up there as my van is a bit sick at the moment and the others that say they are going from here are not too reliable! I can reward with beer


And if any 'non' club members want membership of an affiliated club for the weekend to avoid paying the £3.50 insurance fee let me know and I will sort you out (cant find the winking one!)

Tyne Tour, Tyne Tour, Tyne Tour! Where's the hype?

Hello!!! Tyne Tour, yeay! Can I get a lift please?! I've got the day off on Friday (whoopee!!) so can come down on the early bus and drink (cough) I mean put up tents!

Ohh my days, Tyne Tour is now so close you can almost touch it! I don't know if there are any spare spaces on the bus or not, but is anyone driving up on friday at 5pm from the boatshed?

Whooo this time tomorrow I will hopefully be on pint number ..... in spoons. Guess work wont get alot out of me tomrrow morning!

Been watching the levels this week - it has come down nicely but not sure what the rain will do to it (likely tpo come up fast if it does rain) plus the 15m^3/s that will be released from Kielder! Im sure it will be grand though.

See you tomorrow hopefully before 15:00 depending on the trains.

Thats it over for another year!! Where are all the photos? I will put mine up somewhere when I get home hopefully.
